B.A. Urdu or Bachelor of Arts in Urdu is a three-years undergraduate Urdu language course. This course is specially designed for those candidates who are interested in Urdu language and good knowledge of its related areas. Areas that are covered by the course are drama, poetry, prose, society, novels, grammar etc. To be eligible to apply to this course, students must have passed Class 12 in a relevant discipline from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 50% marks in the final examination. There is no specific age limit for BA Urdu. The average fee charged by colleges offering this BA Arabic course ranges from INR 5000 - 1 LPA per annum. It basically depends on the college the student has chosen. Students having good interest in Urdu language and literature are most suitable for this course.
