Chatra College, Chatra was located in Hazaribag, Jharkhand. It is a Constituent Unit College under affiliation of Vinoba Bhave University or approved by National Council for Teacher's Education.
It is emerged on 1st July, 1961 under the illustrious leadership of Dr.Keshari Nandan Sahay ( Founder Principal Chatra College, Chatra) to facilitate the students of this rural and backward(socially, economically & educationally ) area of Jharkhand (then Bihar)gain higher & qualitative education.
It is located off the main town at Chatra(a new district created on 31st March, 1991, a town of sylvan & religious surrounding and noiseless tranquility) in Chatra Chouparan road at NH-99 .
