MCom Accountancy is a 2 year postgraduate program in the field of commerce. Accountancy or accounting is the art of presenting financial information of any business organization to users such as shareholders and managers, which is generally in the form of financial statements. Accounting is the process of measuring, analyzing, recording, identifying, classifying, verifying, summarizing financial transaction. On the other hand, finance includes the study of funds management. The basic eligibility criteria to pursue M.Com in Accountancy degree the candidate is required to have bachelor’s degree in B.A. / B.com / BBA or any other related degree with minimum 540% marks from a recognized College/University. The admission process is dependent on the candidate’s performance in bachelor’s degree and some institutes may conduct entrance exams for admission.
