The Master of Surgery Obstetrics and Gynecology course has two surgical medical specialties related to childbirth and pregnant woman. MS Obstetrics and Gynecology is a 2 to 3 years post graduation course and it is career- oriented in nature. In this course includes Obstetrics Pathology, Gynecology Pathology, Operative Obstetrics and Gynecology, Medical Surgical Diseases, Complications in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Social Obstetrics and Gynecology, Abnormal Pregnancy, Common Disorders and Systematic Diseases Associated with Pregnancy, Common Obstetrical Operations, etc. The basic eligibility criteria, candidates aspiring for admission to the course need to have attained an M.B.B.S. degree with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. A few universities and institutes in India also conduct entrance examinations for candidates’ assessment and evaluation. The Average Fees for the program range somewhere between INR 3K to 5 Lacs.
