Doctor of Philosophy in Arts is a research based doctoral level course. PhD Arts is a 3-year duration course. The Arts & Humanities are a set of academic disciplines that focus on the way people understand, describe, and document their human experience in this world. This includes the study of speech, the development of ideas and knowledge, how society functions, behavior patterns and challenges, historical and cultural events, as well as human interactions and relationships. Students who have completed their masters in either Science, Arts, Commerce, Technology, etc with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate are eligible for this course. Colleges offer admission through both entrance exams and merit. A student who has completed a Ph.D. in Humanities has career opportunities in a wide variety of fields. The students who graduate from this course can work as teachers, government jobs, consultants, etc.
