B.tech Metallurgical Engineering is a 4-year bachelor's degree Program.The study of the chemical and physical properties of metallic elements and their compounds and mixtures is done under metallurgical engineering. The Metallurgical Engineering program deals with the processes and principles of obtaining metals from natural deposits of metal ores, removing impurities from them, and combining metals to form alloys for industrial needs.This branch of Metallurgical Engineering can be mainly divided into three parts. The first is physical metallurgy, the second is extractive metallurgy and the third is mineral processing.To be eligible for this course study, the candidates need to complete their 10+2 level from a recognized board/ council along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects with at least 55% aggregate score.
