Food Technology

Food technology includes all the work that is done in food processing to convert raw ingredients into edible forms. Bachelor of Technology or B.Tech Food Technology is a 4- year undergraduate course which is split into 8 semester. This course covers chemical processes on various food items, the use of which makes many food products fit for sale in the market and for long-term use. Through food technology, clean, freshly harvested crops can be used for a long time and tasty, healthy, attractive and marketable food products are prepared. The basic eligibility to apply for this B.Tech Course is the completion of 10+2 with at least 60% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one optional from Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology from a recognized university.
