Environmental Engineering

Bachelor of Technology or B.Tech Environmental Engineering is a 4-years undergraduate degree course. In Environmental Engineering, you are taught how the development of our technology is affecting our environment. Environmental engineering is a sub branch of Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering or Chemical engineering. This course provides methods and facilities for wastewater management, water and air purification, waste disposal and recycling, and other purposes pertaining to human health and benefit. It is the study of problems associated with soil, air and water pollution. The basic eligibility for admission to the program is a pass in 10+2 with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects. A minimum aggregate of 60% marks for general category students and 55% minimum aggregate for SC/ST category students. The admission process is both merit-based selection or entrance exams which will be held by colleges or universities.
