B. V. Sc AH is also known as Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. B. V. Sc AH is a 5.5 years undergraduate degree course in the field of Veterinary medical science which is divided into 10 semester and 6 months of compulsory internship. It deals with the study of prevention, management, diagnosis, and treatment of disease, disorder, and injury in animals. The course will cover many of the same topics covered on a medical degree, but focusing on animals rather than humans. Students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board of the country are eligible for admission into this course. The average course fees for BVSc AH ranges between INR 15,000 to 1 lakh per annum. After completing the course, BVSc AH graduates can opt for various roles, such as a veterinary surgeon, veterinary assistant, veterinary consultant, technologist, and other similar roles.
