B.Sc. Horticulture is an advanced degree program in the field of Agricultural Science, which includes subjects related to the cultivation of plants and the study of seeds. Its duration is 3–4 years. The study of plant diseases, growth and genetics is done in this course. This course covers methods that help to enhance plant growth and increase yield without harming the quality. It also deals with subjects like product marketing, farming management, pest control, and many other related topics in detail. Students who wish to study this course should have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their main subjects.
