Founded in December 2013 under the Karnataka University Act with approval from the Government of Karnataka, M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) stands as a top private University in Bangalore. Scholarship Details
Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences provides two types of scholarships. Students can choose to apply for an Admission Test Scholarship or a Merit Scholarship. It is to note that Merit Scholarship can either be a Scholarship of Excellence or a Scholarship of Distinction. Besides, students can avail loans, government and non-government scholarships. In an academic year, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences students are eligible for only one Admission Test or Merit Scholarship.
MSRUAS Scholarship Key Points
- Students who have received Merit Scholarships in a respective year are also eligible for the scholarship the next year provided they meet the eligibility criteria, i.e. CGPA marks
- Similarly, students who don’t qualify for Merit Scholarships in a respective year are also eligible for the scholarship the next year provided they meet the eligibility criteria, i.e. CGPA marks

MSRUAS unified M S Ramaiah Medical College, M S Ramaiah College of Physiotherapy, M S Ramaiah Institute of Nursing Education & Research, M S Ramaiah College of Hotel Management (1993), M S Ramaiah College of Pharmacy (1992), M S Ramaiah Dental College (1991), the M S School of Advanced Studies (1999), and the M S Ramaiah Advanced Learning Centre (2012). Addressing contemporary needs of education, it also introduced new disciplines and programmes.

Placement Records & Support
The Directorate of Training & Placements assists each student in exploring placement prospects by inviting various companies for campus recruitment drive for students who are in the final year of the programme and are likely to graduate at the end of the academic year.
The students are prepared for their final placement through an incessant and structured interface with the industry through vigorous internships, guest talks and industrial visits, industry ready course curriculum and Pre-placement training sessions (PPTs). Hence, final placement is a culmination of all these processes.
Department of Training & Placement enables the students to bridge the gap between the Academia and Corporate world. Feedback from industry is collected and the feedback used to design Pre-Placement Training Programs. This important activity is vital to enable the students to achieve desired career objectives.
