Dental or dentistry is a specialisation or branch of medical sciences, that deals with oral health. Dental courses can be referred to as the study of teeth, gums and other organs in the mouth. The dental study helps students to identify the toothache problem and how to cure it through treatment. Postgraduate dental degree is a Master of Dental Surgery in Dentistry. The duration of this PG course is a 3 years but their is a provision of a 2 years MDS course for the candidates who have completed a Postgraduate Diploma course recognised by Dental Council of India(DCI).
