MDS Periodontology is a full time post graduate course. The duration of the course is 3 years which is split into six semester. Periodontology is a branch of dentistry that deals with the proper arrangement of teeth. It heals teeth suffering from dental diseases including gums, cementum, periodontal layers and alveolar bone. The minimum eligibility criterion for applying to the course is a BDS degree from a recognized university, with a minimum aggregate score of 55% from any Dental Council of India approved College/Institute.
