MDS Pedodontics is a three-year postgraduate degree program in dentistry. It focuses on taking care of the oral health of children. It deals with the diagnosis and treatment of oral health and all types of dental diseases in children from birth to adulthood. The basic eligibility criteria for admission in MDS (Pedodontics) is to have
pursued a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) graduation program from a recognized college/university or institute perceived by the Dental Council of India (DCI) with a minimum of 55% marks. Admission to this course is selective and is done by both merit and entrance tests. However, some institutions might take an interview before giving admission.
