MDS Oral Medicine and Radiology is a postgraduate program of 3 years which is split into six semester. It is a branch of dentistry that includes the study of 2 specialized areas. One is dental medicine that deals with the oral health care of medically complex patients. And second is oral and maxillofacial radiology that includes the production and interpretation of radiographic images. It involves CT and MRI scans that assist in the diagnosis of disease. The basic eligibility criteria for admission in MDS Oral Medicine and Radiology is to have pursued a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) graduation program from a recognized college/university or institute perceived by the Dental Council of India (DCI) with a minimum of 55% marks.
