Master of Education or M.ED English is a two years postgraduate degree program which is split into four semester. The MEd English course is designed for teachers who want to teach English as a second language. This course aims to give students a broad understanding of the English language, professional ethics, and the psychological foundations of teaching. This course will teach the language's history, grammar, composition, language acquisition, reading, and development. Candidates must have a UG degree with a minimum of 55 percent from a recognized university to be eligible for the MEd English program. The percentage can differ from one institution to the next. Admission to MEd English is conducted through marks obtained in previous courses or UG or entrance exam. The average fees to pursue MEd English may range between INR 10,000 to INR 1,50,000.
