The full name of DM is Doctorate of Medicine. DM is a super specialty Post Graduate Degree program in the field of medicine. Duration of DM Degree Course is 3 years.
This course covers theoretical knowledge, practical and clinical skills, thesis skills, communication skills and approaches including training in research methodology.
DM courses can be pursued only after the candidate has finished their post-graduate degree in medical science such as M.S./ PG Medical Diploma etc. The admission to the DM Program is based on merit in the previous qualifying exam and on NEET-SS entrance conducted by different institutes and examination bodies every year.
