VETERINARY MICROBIOLOGY

BVSc or Bachelor of Veterinary Science in Veterinary Microbiology is a 5.5 (6 month internship period) years undergraduate degree course that focuses on microbial diseases (bacteria, viruses, toxins, and parasites) of domesticated vertebrate animals. BVSc Veterinary Microbiology students are taught topics such as Animal Anatomy, Physiology, Animal Diseases and Animal Nutrition, etc. Students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations with PCB with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board of the country are eligible for admission into this course. Candidates are selected based on their performance in accepted entrance exams.
