B.A Social Science is an undergraduate degree course. This course of 3 years is divided into 6 semesters under the semester system. There are two semesters in every year. At the end of which the examination is conducted. Social science is a scientific approach to know human relation and society. It mainly focuses on time, environment, culture, anthropology, archeology and politics and deals with human society and natural science. The basic eligibility to pursue in this course applicants must have passed Class 12 or equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 50% marks. Admission to this program will be done based on the candidate's performance in the entrance test followed by Counselling or on the basis of the candidate's performance in Class 12. The average annual program fee in India ranges between INR 50,000 and 12,00,000, depending on the institute offering the course. On completion of this course, students easily get jobs as Social Service Managers, Advertising Sales Agent, Social Workers, Economist etc. Handsome salary packages are offered to these postgraduates with the average salary of INR 2,00,000 to INR 9,00,000 per annum.
