B.A. Kannada or Bachelor of Arts in Kannada is a three-years undergraduate Kannada course which is split into six semester. Kannada is the study of literature, linguistics, and philosophy of the Kannada language. BA Kannada syllabus covers both practical and theory papers. Subjects typically studied under this degree are Poetry, Drama, Fiction, Literary Criticism, Literary History etc. Through this course, students are given knowledge about Scriptures, Literature, Poems, Prose and much more. Aspiring candidates must have cleared the 10+2 examinations with a minimum of 50% marks in the corresponding courses to become eligible for admission. Students should have also studied the Kannada language as one of the main subjects in 10+2. The course fee ranges from INR 5000 - 50,000 per annum.
