The University aims to disseminate and advance knowledge in medical and health sciences. The University provides academic and research facilities in various streams to the students studying in various Government Colleges (Medical, Dental, Nursing, Public Health Pharmacy & Paramedical) and private colleges/institutions affiliated to this University. RUHS scholarships are offered to its students in all the colleges affiliated with it. The Government of Rajasthan has made mandatory scholarships for students who hail from families, whose financial status is Below Poverty Line (BPL)

Placements: Around 95% of students are placed in this course. And some students try to get a NEET PG seat. The highest package is 2 lacs per month, and the lowest package is 30000 per month. This college has the maximum share of PG seats available in Rajasthan.
