ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY:-
Shobhit Institute of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, was granted Deemed-to-be University status by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, through Notification No. F-9-37/2004-U.3(A) on November 8, 2006, under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
The University is committed to strategic growth, aligning its mission and vision to deliver quality education through vertical and horizontal integration. It aspires to become a world-class institution with a global outlook dedicated to educating future leaders.
Accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A’ Grade in its second cycle, the University is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities. In July 2022, it was recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 aims to increase India’s Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) in higher education from 27% to 50% by 2030. This goal emphasizes using technology and promoting online and distance learning to provide equitable access to quality education, particularly for students from rural and agricultural communities.

Scholarship 1
Adarsh Women Empowerment Scholarship
For girl candidates: Equal to 20% of Tuition Fee.
Applicable to candidates applying for all UG/PG programs and having more than 60% marks in qualifying academic exams.
Academic Merit Based Scholarship
75 - 80% marks in qualifying exams: Equal to 25% of Tuition Fee
81 - 85% marks in qualifying exams: Equal to 50% of Tuition Fee
86 - 90% marks in qualifying exams: Equal to 75% of Tuition Fee
More than 90% marks in qualifying exams: Equal to 100% of Tuition Fee
