ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY:-
Sardar Patel University (SPU) is a public university in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, which was established in 1955 by an Act of the Legislative Assembly of the then-Bombay Province. SPU holds recognition from the University Grant Commission (UGC) and has a membership in the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by NAAC with Grade-A. The university also serves as the affiliating body for 148 college
Sardar Patel University comprises of 27 Postgraduate Departments, a constituent college, and 148 colleges affiliated to it. There are 31 PG courses available in the affiliated colleges/institutions. The teaching programme covered at Postgraduate level under various faculties such as Science, Arts, Commerce, Management, Engineering, Pharmacy, Medicine, Homeopathy, Home Science, Law and Education includes Postgraduate Degree Courses, Postgraduate Diploma Courses, Diploma Courses, and Advanced Certificate Courses. Undergraduate Courses are taught in the colleges or institutes affiliated to the University.
The courses offered are framed keeping in view the needs of the students, the society, and the employing agencies – industry or organisations – at the state, the national and the international levels.

ABOUT THE PLACEMENT:-
the NIRF report 2024 has been released, which includes 2023 placement data. As per the report, 1 PG (1-year) and 284 PG (2-year) students were placed during the 2023 placements. The median package offered to PG (1-year) and PG (2-year) students during Sardar Patel University placements 2023 stood at INR 3 LPA and INR 3.60 LPA, respectively.
