Corporate Relations and Placement Cell is a central facility for students of Dr. D. Y. Patil Educational Complex, Akurdi which helps and guides students to build career prospects in the competitive world of globalization. It is one of the integral parts of the campus where training as well as placement activities are organized throughout the year with a view to prepare the students understand industry expectations from fresher’s and thus become industry ready. Students are trained on basic language skills in the well developed Language laboratories of the campus. To prepare and train aspiring learners to face campus recruitment, students are provided with exhaustive training with relevance to Communication Skills, Aptitude test and overall development for personal & professional grooming. The Corporate Relations and Placement Cell is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support all the stages of Placement Process viz. Pre-placement talk, written/ online Aptitude test, Group discussion & Personnel Interviews. The major thrust of the strong and dedicated team of Training & Placement officers is to create and explore maximum opportunities for the placement of the eligible students in the job market by establishing good rapport with the industry. It is heartening to state that reputed industries across the country visit the campus regularly for campus recruitment.
The skills of our students are appreciated at various campus drives and we have also achieved excellent placements. Our students have gained placements to some of the world’s best companies. Many students are doing well in higher studies at different foreign universities. One major element of our academic activity is tremendous industry exposure to all the students which helps them to relate and apply the academic knowledge to the practical world.
