Apeejay Stya University (ASU) is a seat of global learning that offers rich opportunities for innovative teaching-learning, creativity and research across disciplines. It aims to bring about transformation of society through valuebased education, man-making and nation-building by blending the dual identities of a technology and research-based university with a Liberal Arts institution. ASU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Established by the Apeejay Stya Education Foundation in the state of Haryana [under Act No. 10 of the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act 2010], ASU provides students not only ‘education for living and livelihood’ but also ‘education for life’ and empowers learners with a fundamental foundation in leadership and professional skills to face the challenges of the new liberalised global economy.
Situated amidst a sprawling, picturesque campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure on the Sohna-Palwal Road in the Gurugram district of Haryana, ASU offers a wide range of innovative graduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes across a plethora of disciplines that are based on the best education practices of some of the leading universities of the world. Apeejay Stya University offers various scholarships to deserving students to support their education. Students who wish to enroll in any course at Apeejay Stya University will have to score a good percentage as a part of the selection process. Apart from this, students should also meet other criteria that the Apeejay Stya University has chosen to avail the scholarship.

- ASU shines at 37th Inter-University North-West Zone Youth Festival 2024
It is a proud moment for Apeejay Stya University, Sohna, Gurugram, as it achieved a grand success by securing Second Runners-up Trophy in 37th Inter-University North West Zone Youth Festival, 2024 held at M.D University Rohtak, Haryana. Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chancellor, ASU and Dr Neha Berlia, Pro-Chancellor, ASU congratulated the students for their brilliant performance. They also congratulated the Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Vir Singh and the Pro-Vice- Chancellor Dr Sucharita on this occasion.
ASU participated in 22 events and the team has qualified in 10 events making itself eligible for participating in National Youth Festival. The participants were extremely happy and jubilant over their success.

School of Biosciences, Apeejay Stya University has been bestowed with 'Best University for IP Facilitation' at the 3rd IP Excellence Awards by ASSOCHAM in February 2024.

- ASU bags awards galore at the 36th National Youth Festival 2023
We are proud to share that the students of ASU excelled at the 36th National Youth Festival 2023, held from 24 to 28 February 2023 at Jain University, Bengaluru. The students aced numerous events wherein the first position in western solo song and light vocal gazal was secured by Nisha Pameh in both categories, under the guidance of Dr Anadi Mishra.
