Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital is NMC recognised and GOI approved Medical College, having UG & PG students in almost all medical specialities and in Super Specialty DM / M.Ch programmes in medical & surgical super specialty disciplines. The first and only exclusive medical University of the State, MGUMST, also has a DCI recognised PG Dental College, PG Nursing College, Post Graduate Physiotherapy & OT College and offers various other courses in medicine and allied fields.

Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, the NABH-NABL accredited teaching Hospital of the University, is the largest private hospital in the state having 1500 beds and is a pioneer in the field of organ transplant. Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, Jaipur has performed the first heart transplant, liver transplant, pancreas transplant and cadaveric kidney transplant. Our Renal transplantation team is doing almost 2 renal transplants a day including 2-way and 3-way swap transplants and ABO incompatible renal transplants. So far more than 1450 transplants have been done at our Institute. Mahatma Gandhi Hospital has an established the Live related Donor liver transplant programme. We are performing around 4 - 5 liver transplants a month with good results and have performed 58 liver transplants so far.

Sri Ram Cancer and Super specialty Centre, is the state’s largest multi-disciplinary oncology setup with nearly 400 beds, equipped with the latest devices and is managed by very eminent and senior faculty in the field.The comprehensive oncology services in medical oncology, surgical oncology, onco-plastic surgery, radiation oncology and diagnostic oncology (i.e. nuclear medicine, onco-histopathology and onco-radiology), Bone Marrow transplant for neoplastic and thalessmic indications are being provided to the patients by Sri Ram Cancer & Super Specialty Centre. Advanced and complex surgeries are being routinely performed by the Centre for Neurosciences and Cardio thoracic surgery dept including cardiac transplant.

Dept. of Clinical Hematology is running a successful Bone Marrow transplant programme for neoplastic and thalassaemic indications. Dept. of IHBT, that is the Blood Bank, is AAB and NABH accredited and is one of the largest and most technologically advanced Blood Centre facilities in the state equipped with blood components separation, HLA typing, flow cytometry etc.

Mahatma Gandhi Hospital is largest private the state government designated tertiary COVID care centre. Plan for the worst and hope for the best has been our philosophy. The Institute deployed large scale infrastructure with over 1000 beds having piped oxygen supply, upto 400 ICU beds with close to 150 ventilators, 5 ECMO units, oxygen concentrators, 1400 oxygen cylinders and the state’s largest oxygen generation as a back-up for our LMO reserves.
