Krea University has been enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh as per The Andhra Pradesh Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) (Amendment) Act, 2018 vide the gazette notification published on April 30, 2018.IFMR Society is the sponsoring body of the University. Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR) has wide and deep experience in education and research for the past 48 years.Established in 1970 as a not-for-profit society, the Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR) was set up to provide research-based inputs to industries and the government in the areas of finance and economics. Sponsored by the erstwhile ICICI Ltd, the House of Kotharis and other major industrial groups, IFMR Society was the first of its kind in Asia.

Scholarship Details
Top 10% of the students in a batch who meet the above eligibility criteria may be considered for the award of scholarship. The scholarship amount shall be up to INR 2.50 lakhs per student.

171 of the 175 students accepted job offers made by leading companies across sectors. The average CTC increased to INR 10 Lakhs (per annum), and this is despite what has been a challenging year. The average CTC for the top 10% clocked at INR 14.06 Lakhs, and for the top 25% at INR 13.40 lakhs.
