Scholarship Details
SCHOLARSHIP:-
75% scholarship in tuition fee for the students who have secured above 90% in 12th standard. 50% scholarship in tuition fee for the students who have secured 85-90% in 12th standard.
Key Achievements
ACHEIVEMENT:-
- Mr. Suresh Babu SASL- Physics (21PHD10013) is awarded with the International Astronomical Union (IAU) Grant, worth 950 Euros, for attending IAUGA2022 which is to be held at Busan, South Korea during 2nd August 2022- 11th August 2022.
- Team (WildEye) from VIT Bhopal University made it to the top 50 worldwide of Google Solution Challenge 2022 where the students were asked to make a solution for one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. They also received one on one mentoring sessions from Googlers and Google Developer Experts. Only 11 teams were selected by google throughout India and we were the only team from all the VIT campuses. The team details are as follows: Tanishq Jaiswal (19BAI10187) (Team Lead), Mukul Agrawal (19BEC10016), Kamal Soni (19BEC10006).
- Amishi Gupta (20BAS10058), B.Tech Aerospace Engineering, won 34th place in the SAEIndia- Aerothon held on September 6/25/2022, organized by SAEIndia – Banglore .
- Aaryan P Dabhade (19BAI1013), B.Tech (AI & ML), won 2nd place in the Pitching Competition 2021 held on 12/26/2021, organized by IIT Goa.
- Amishi Gupta (20BAS10058), B.Tech Aerospace Engineering, won 34th place in the SAEIndia- Aerothon held on 6/25/2022, organized by SAEIndia – Banglore .
Placement Records & Support
PLACEMENT:-
VIT Bhopal ensures the best placements for its students. The university has a centralized placement system for all the campuses through the VIT Career Development Centre similar to the centralized admission procedure followed for all VIT campuses.
The VIT Career Development Centre has played a major role in VIT’s illustrious placement record in national and international companies. The Placement training is provided to students right from the first semester to help them in sharpening their coding and aptitude skills. The VIT Alumni Association (VITAA) also supports the placement by providing inputs on the current trends in industry that helps in developing required expertise for better employability.
VIT is a proud holder for the Limca book of records for the highest number of recruitments through placements done from a single institution by IT sector companies for 7 years. Cognizant, TATA Consultancy Services, Accenture, Wipro, and Infosys are a few names in the IT sector that have their placement bases in VIT. These companies have had about 8,000 placements in the year 2016 and the number seems to increase every year.
The placement and training process starts from the freshman year. The training process is personalised for each student. Placement training includes company-specific soft skill training, resume building, vendor-based aptitude, reasoning and coding training, career guidance webinars and mock interviews. The PAT cell works along with the CDC team to refine students’ fundamental subject knowledge and guarantee quality projects. VIT Bhopal has a strong alumni VITAA (VIT Alumni Association) network that provides all-round support to students.
