Sri Balaji Society (SBS) was established in the year 1998 by Late. Professor Dr. (Col) A. Balasubramanian; is also the Founder and Chancellor of Sri Balaji University Pune (SBUP). Sri Balaji Society shifted to its present location in Tathwade, Pune in the year 2006. It is the dedication and vision of our founder which helped us achieve the status of a university in 2019.

About SRI BALAJI UNIVERSITY MAHARASHTRA PUNE
SBUP is one huge campus with four institutes. Today, SBUP offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programmes through its four constituent management institutions - Balaji Institute of Modern Management (BIMM), Balaji Institute of Technology & Management (BITM), Balaji Institute of International Business (BIIB), and Balaji Institute of Management and Human Resources Development (BIMHRD).
SBUP also offers UG Programmes with various specializations in BA, BA (Liberal Arts), BCA, B.Sc. (Actuarial Science) BBA, BBA+MBA, LLB, BA+LLB, BBA+LLB and PG Programme in MCA.
Apart from these institutions/schools/programmes we also have a law college – Balaji Law College (BLC) and an Undergraduate and Graduate level college namely - Balaji College of Arts Commerce and Science (BCACS) and Balaji Junior College of Arts Commerce and Science (BJCACS). BLC and BCACS are affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Scholarship Details
A small write up about the Prof. M.S. Pillai Memorial Scholarship by our beloved Founder-Chancellor, Professor Dr. (Col.) A Balasubramanian in his golden words-
“Prof. M. S. Pillai was an innovator and an extra ordinary professor and management educationist. He was a genius, known for bold initiatives in management education. I happen to be one of his blessed students. After my retirement from the army when I came to Symbiosis, Prof. M.S. Pillaiwas leaving for a Kerala based institute. But soon he came back to start SCMHRD while I was running SIMS. There was a healthy collaboration between us and we complemented each other, resulting in growth, both for ourselves as well as our students.
Prof. M. S. Pillai introduced meditation and Vipassana as compulsory subjects for his management students. He also mentored many corporate leaders. He was a good learner and a great teacher, totally devoted to his students. He was a kindhearted but tough disciplinarian. An excellent counsellor. Thousands of students have benefited from his training and guidance. Above all Prof Pillai was known for his humility and humanity. He was a role model and as his disciple andchancellor of SBUP it is my duty to cherish his memory through the Prof M S Pillai Memorial Scholarship.”

We would further like to add that our state-of-the-art IT infrastructure and rigorous training have resulted in 100% placement every year. Our 100% placement record is testimony to the core values and processes of Sri Balaji University, Pune (SBUP). We humbly submit that, ovr 886 students across all specializations in all constituent institutes (BIMM, BITM, BIIB, BIMHRD) received 903 job offers. Despite the challenging pandemic phase, students of Sri Balaji University, Pune, received more job opportunities. As of 8th June 2022, our campus placement record stands at 100% for the batch 2020-22 with the average package of 7.8 lakhs per annum and the highest package of 19.25 lakhs per annum.
