Sanjay Ghodawat University - SGU Scholarships and Funding

1) Scholarship - Shri. Sanjay Ghodawat Loyalty Scholarship:

Students in 1st year of all UG Programmes of B.Tech./ B.Pharm. / B.Arch. / B.Des./School of Allied Health Sciences.

Eligibilty Criteria:
Passed 12th Science from:
SGIIT all branches/ Sanjay Ghodawat Junior College / Sanjay Ghodawa International School & Jr. College/ As per the University Programme Eligibility.

Amount of Loyalty Scholarship:
10% of fees for the programme excluding exam fees only. The scholarship is only for admitted one year.

2)Scholarship -  Merit Scholarship Scheme for Meritorious A.Y. 2022-23

Eligibility:
Passed 12th exam or state of respective state boards or equivalent examination with 45%(Genral) / 40% (category) in PCM & CET/JEE/PARA/ SGUEE/ Examination with non zero score.

The USP of the University is its curriculum in tandem with the requirements of the Industry plus choice based credit system that allows students to choose major as well minor in the subjects of their choice. It encourages multi - disciplinary approach that helps students’ creativity and productivity. The University also offers hand on experience with establishment of Tata Technology Centre, Mechatronics Lab Car, BOSCH Collaboration Centre, Centre of Space and Atmospheric Science etc.

The University campus is a state of art facility provided to students to help them study in a pristine environment. The major goal of Training and Placement Cell is to provide world class Training and Employment opportunities to SGU Students in Leading Organizations. The Cell is well equipped with ample infrastructure in Terms of conducting tests, Group Discussion Hall and for Pre-Placement Talk, Presentations etc and also Computer labs are accredited by TCS,Sify,NSE-IT, AICTE, DTE(Directorate of Technical Education)etc. There are 1000 PC's to conduct online aptitude test along with 100mbps dedicated internet lease line.

SGU Training and Placement cell has created systems and structures to facilitate the aspiring students to excel in CAT, GATE, GRE, TOEFL, MPSC, UPSC and similar competitive examinations.

The SGU Training & Placement cell shall operate year round to facilitate contacts between companies & students. Staff members shall be available to respond to student's questions and concerns of all kinds. This may include advice on placement procedures; help to prepare application and resumes and mock Interviews. The aim is to ensure that students have the information and skills necessary for an effective job search

All counseling is based on up to-date placement statistics and an envisioned view of future educational and industrial trends. Additionally, the SGU Training & Placement Cell helps the students to improve their communication Skills and Presentation Skills.

SGU Training and Placement cell encompasses three main activities: Training, Education, and Development. 

Training : The Training curriculum is designed for preparing the students as entry level Graduate Engineer TraineesKeeping in view the current trends and technologies being used by the industries.

Education : Appropriate skills for the job profile are acquired by the students during the classroom sessions on Aptitude and Conceptual training.

Development : This activity focuses on the personality development to make the students reliable, with the positive attitude and right decision making.

Thus cell provides a training program to students to improve their knowledge of Quantitative, Verbal and Analytical Ability, Communication Skills, etc.

The above goals are achieved by the institute through Industry/Institution Interactions and having Memorandum of Understanding with the Leading Industry Like Tata Technologies, Infosys, etc.

 NOTE -   Sanjay Ghodawat University has signed up an MOU with TATA Technologies for an alliance to bring excellence in academic practices in proximity with industrial practices that will benefit Engg & MBA students and make them industry ready.
